Spooky Bites

A Multisensory Dining Experience

In the Spooky Bites experience, guests are guided through a chilling menu of eerie delights—blindfolded. As participants are seated in pairs, they’re greeted by a friendly waiter named Jamie, who introduces them to a world where taste reigns supreme. But just as the meal begins, something goes wrong. Jamie vanishes, and in his place emerges a cursed waiter from beyond the veil, ushering in a series of unsettling courses paired with haunting narration, immersive soundscapes, and spine-tingling textures.

My role: Sound Design, Multisensory experience design

Designed to playfully blur the line between horror and humor, this experience uses sound, taste, and touch to heighten suspense, disorient the senses, and create delightfully creepy tension. With each course, participants confront the unknown, whether squishing a “goblin’s brain” or crunching a “chocolate beetle.” Spooky Bites explores the psychology of anticipation, fear, and multisensory immersion, offering a bite-sized thrill ride that ends with a surprise twist, a rescued host, and a real-world souvenir to remember it by.
