Game Summary
Inspired by Death Stranding, Bridges and Mist uses the format of a card-based game to let players feel what it’s like to move through a broken world. In the game, player connect spaces, yet constantly pushed back by fog, terrain, and uncertainty. At its core, the game is about inching forward when you can’t fully see what lies ahead, and finding meaning in that slow, deliberate progress.
Game Outline
In play, you move through a landscape covered in shifting mist. Each turn you play a card: building a bridge, scouting, clearing fog, restoring supplies, or repairing what’s already collapsed. The mist hides both danger and opportunity; a card might open a new route, or it might trigger a collapse, a dead end, or send you back the way you came. Because the terrain keeps changing, every step becomes a small negotiation between risk, stamina, and direction. With only partial visibility and an ever-moving map, your path emerges through how you combine your cards and how you choose to move toward a destination you can’t fully see.
